Terms of service

Terms and conditions for using the platform

Version 1.0 — In force since 2026-08-20

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

The platform is provided by DID S.r.l., registered office at Piazza Giorgio Amendola 17, 84091 Battipaglia (SA), Italia, VAT number 05922930655 (the "provider", "we").

These terms govern access to and use of the platform and related services. By using the platform, or creating an account, you accept them. If you accept them on behalf of a company, you declare that you have authority to do so.

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy notice and the cookie policy, which form an integral part of these terms.

2. What the service is

The platform is a professional tool for managing sourcing, selection and placement processes for IT profiles. Among other things, it allows you to store and consult profiles, manage open positions and applications, identify profiles on public sources, organise commercial activity and generate documents.

The service is intended for professional use. It is not aimed at consumers or at anyone under 18.

3. Accounts

Using the platform requires an account, created by us or by an administrator of your organisation.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out with your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, tell us immediately at info@did.srl: we will suspend the account.

The information you provide must be truthful and up to date. We may suspend an account whose details are manifestly false.

4. How you must use the platform

You undertake not to:

  • upload third parties' personal data without a legal basis for doing so, or use the platform for purposes other than those for which that data was collected;
  • upload special categories of data (health, ethnic origin, religious, political or trade-union beliefs, sex life) or criminal-offence data, or use them as a selection criterion;
  • use the platform to select or exclude people on the basis of characteristics protected by law, or in breach of anti-discrimination and employment legislation;
  • send unsolicited communications in breach of data protection and electronic communications legislation;
  • attempt to access other organisations' data, circumvent access controls, or probe or compromise the security of the service;
  • extract content in bulk using automated tools, resell the service or make it available to third parties without our written agreement;
  • decompile, reverse-engineer or replicate the software.

5. Your data and your content

The data and documents you upload remain yours (or your organisation's). We acquire no ownership of them. You grant us only the limited, revocable licence needed to host, process and display them as part of the service.

Where your organisation uploads third parties' personal data into its own space, it is the controller and we act as processor under Art. 28 GDPR. You are required to provide data subjects with the notices due to them and to obtain the necessary legal bases.

On request, and in any event when the relationship ends, we return or delete the data as set out in the privacy notice.

6. Features based on artificial intelligence

Some features use AI models: extracting data from CVs, turning a natural-language search into query criteria, and ranking by relevance the profiles found on public sources.

You should be aware that:

  • results may contain errors. Extraction from CVs must be checked: derived fields are editable and the original document remains available;
  • no feature decides for you. Assessment, selection and presentation of a profile remain human decisions. You are responsible for the decisions you make using the platform;
  • use in an employment context brings obligations on your side. If you use the platform in selection processes, you are responsible for the transparency duties towards candidates and workers under applicable law, including Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence to the extent it applies to you.

7. Sourcing from public sources

The sourcing feature collects professional information from publicly accessible pages. It is a tool: how you use it is your responsibility, and the lawfulness of contacting the people identified depends on whoever makes that contact complying with data protection law.

You undertake to inform the people contacted pursuant to Art. 14 GDPR, to state the source of the data, and to act immediately on objections.

8. Availability of the service

We aim to keep the service continuously available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates or security reasons, giving notice where the suspension is planned.

⟨TO BE CONFIRMED: binding service levels (SLA), if provided for in the commercial contract — availability percentage, maintenance windows, response times.⟩

We may modify, add or remove features. If a change substantially reduces the service, we will give you reasonable advance notice.

9. Fees

⟨TO BE CONFIRMED: pricing model, billing frequency, payment methods, automatic renewal terms, consequences of non-payment, refund policy.⟩

Fees are exclusive of VAT and applicable taxes. In the event of non-payment we may suspend the service after notice.

10. Term and termination

⟨TO BE CONFIRMED: contract term, notice period, tacit renewal.⟩

You may ask for your account to be closed at any time by writing to info@did.srl. We may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms, giving reasoned notice; in cases of unlawful use or security risk, suspension may be immediate.

On termination, access is revoked and data is handled as set out in the privacy notice. It is up to you to export what you need in good time.

11. Intellectual property

The platform, the software, the interface, the trademarks and the documentation belong to us or to their respective owners. These terms transfer no rights in them to you beyond the right of use during the relationship.

12. Liability

The service is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for damage arising from use of the platform contrary to these terms, from decisions taken on the basis of unverified results, from content uploaded by users, or from the unavailability of third-party services the platform depends on.

Nothing in this clause excludes our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for personal injury, or for anything that cannot be excluded by law.

⟨TO BE CONFIRMED: liability cap, if provided for in the contract — typically measured against the fees for the last 12 months.⟩

13. Indemnity

You undertake to hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from the data you upload, the communications you send through the platform, and your use of it in breach of these terms or of applicable law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Substantial changes are communicated to registered users at least 30 days in advance; if you do not accept them you may terminate within that period. Use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law.

⟨TO BE CONFIRMED: exclusive jurisdiction — typically the provider's registered office for business-to-business relationships.⟩

For relationships with counterparties established in Switzerland, mandatory Swiss provisions continue to apply.
